General information

Born in 1962. In 1984 graduated from the Faculty of Radio Kyiv State Taras Shevchenko specialty "Radio Physics and Electronics". Defended Ph.D. thesis on specialty 01.04.10 – "Physics of semiconductors and dielectrics." After completing military service in the Armed Forces from 1986 works in university as research engineer. Since 1988 was a postgraduate student at the Department of semiconductor electronics. Worked as a senior engineer, chief of the sector of scientific and methodological center for training and retraining of the engineering staff of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko university of Kyiv.

Since 1993 – assistant lecturer of Radio Electronics Radiophysics faculty. Since 2000 – Associate Professor of Semiconductor Electronics (specialization "Automation Research"). Since 1999 appointed as Chief of Information and Computing Centre of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Since 2006 – Head of Semiconductor Electronics (now – Computer Engineering Department).

During the period of teaching he prepared many new lecture and laboratory courses. We present courses and conducted laboratory work with specialization "Automation Research", "Modern software packages," "The hardware design of computers and external devices", "Microprocessor Technology" (section "Circuit"), "Automation of research" and "Publishing system" for students.

Research associated with studies of deep levels in semiconductors and structures based on them. During the work created by automated spectrometers deep levels in semiconductors investigated a large number of new materials and structures based on them. Considerable attention was paid to developing methods for measuring and processing the results of experiments. The method of obtaining the density of states in case of continuous spectrum of deep levels and the division RSHR spectra in the case of a complex spectrum.

Much attention is paid to the implementation of the educational process at the department of modern computer technology. The introduction of training courses on the academic program of Cisco Systems (Regional Networking Academy Cisco System at the University under the leadership of V. Boyko) allowed to raise teaching of information technology at the current level. According to a joint project with Intel was created parallel computing lab and built first in Ukraine computing cluster. Use high computing power, greatly improving the level of scientific researches and implement the learning process of a number of university courses related to parallel computing.

Published more than 50 scientific works, among them – the textbook "Methods and systems automation research". Awarded the Order "For Merit" third degree.
